I think we should consider a reason Ironhide isn't worthy of being a Prime, by focusing on what being a prime isn't, which is a skilled fighter, Ironhide is extremely good at fighting, but that's something that comes from being a prime, not what makes you one, second, the only true leadership skill he displayed besides bravery is from a line in ROTF, "That's not what Optimus would want." Which given that he at no point actually expressed a desire to save humans just because it was the right thing, would mean he likely only said it out of respect for Optimus, not because ige necessarily believed in doing it. I by no means think he would've made a bad prime, but he's missing the one very thing that makes someone worthy, which is the principles behind your decisions.

If Ironhide were to become Prime, I believe that his ascended name could be Hidemus Prime, which is analogous to Hot Rod becoming Rodimus Prime, or another alternative option could be Ironimus Prime.
